HUGE FAN of  Hollywod Fashion Tape.  It’s double sided and easily affixed to clothing, and even your skin.  It holds clothing in place so you don’t ever have to worry about the possibility of the  dreaded “wardrobe malfunction”!  The packaging is cute and compact ,  just throw it in your handbag. I always carry it with me for clothing emergencies!

Caroline’s Must Haves – Kiehl’s Lip Balm

I’m a huge fan of anything that has to do with Kiehl’s, but I especially love their Lip Balm.  It helps prevent chapped lips in the winter and gives a nice sheen with SPF 4 protection in the summer.   It glides on easily and doesn’t give you that heavy, sticky feeling on your lips once applied.  LOVE!

Caroline’s Must Haves – Loving Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

It’s  a sheer, lightweight moisturizer with SPF 20 with  a hint of color that can be used in place of foundation. I’m not a fan of wearing foundation during the hot summer months, so when I discovered this I was thrilled.  It gives me the coverage I need and is so light it feels as if I’m not .wearing make up at all.  LOVE IT!!!!  Check out their website .

Caroline’s Blue Cheese , Fig & Honey Bruschetta

Take one loaf crusty Italian bread and cut into slices. Toast lightly and spray each piece with olive oil, according to your taste. Then, based on the size of each slice of bread, assemble the following ingredients to create a layer on top of each slice:

- ½-1lb Gorgonzola Blue cheese

- 10 or so dried figs, or 4-5 fresh Mission figs- Orange blossom or lemon honey

- Olive oil sprayChop figs up into small cubes and crumble the blue cheese separately.

If you want to use fresh Mission figs, please do!! However, instead of cubing, slice the figs thinly and layer over blue cheese.Top bread with crumbled blue cheese, layer some dried figs on top and LIGHTLY drizzle with honey. If you’re a little intimidated by the flavored honey, use regular honey, but use sparingly – the figs are sweet ‘as is’ and you don’t want sweetness overkill!

PS….Don’t be afraid get crazy and add some crumbled walnuts on top, too!Enjoy!
